Michelle And Barack Obama's First Dance Melts Hearts With Jennifer Hudson

Barack and Michelle Obama partaking in their first dance of the nightFor those of us who couldn't get enough the Presidential Inauguration on Monday (January 21), the festivities carried on late into the night and included so many A-list performances that we had trouble keeping track of them all. Incredibly enough, even with names like Katy Perry and fun. on the performance lineup at not one, but two inaugural balls, everyone seemed the most excited to see the First Lady Michelle Obama and which dress she had decided to wear.
The FLOTUS' eager fans didn't have to wait too long as Michelle Obama, wearing a floor-length, flowy red dress by Jason Wu, joined her husband onstage at the Inaugural Ball shortly after his opening remarks and heartfelt thanks to members of the armed forces in attendance and overseas. The happy couple kicked off the evening with a first dance to Al Green's classic love song, "Let's Stay Together," which was performed by Oscar-winner Jennifer HallJennifer Hudson serenades the First Couple
The President and his First Lady were all smiles during their dance and exchanged a couple quick kisses before pulling a little switch-a-roo; about halfway through the song they separated to dance with two members of the armed forces — the President danced with a young woman, the First Lady with a young man — who were waiting in the wings.
