RIHHANA ADHAMIRIA ALBUM YAKE ISHIKE NO.1 KATIKA CHART ZA BILLBOARD

Although Rihanna has piled up a mountain of No. 1 singles on the Billboard Hot 100 chart -- 12 of them to be exact -- a No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 still eludes her.
That may change next week, as her seventh studio release, "Unapologetic," has a very good chance at debuting at No. 1. Industry sources say the SRP/Def Jam album (released on Monday, Nov. 19) should sell between 225,000 and 250,000 by the end of the tracking week on Sunday, Nov. 25.
With the Thanksgiving holiday (Thursday, Nov. 22) and Black Friday promotions impacting the week, it's especially difficult to forecast music sales. While no other new release seems likely to sell more than "Unapologetic," anything is possible.



No matter where Rihanna finishes the week with "Unapologetic," it seems certain that it will earn the singer her best sales week ever. So far, her best frame came when 2010's "Loud" launched at No. 3 with 207,000.



A year ago next week, Michael Buble's "Christmas" rose to No. 1 for the first time, selling 227,000 (up from 165,000 the week previous, according to Nielsen SoundScan) after the turkey holiday. While Buble isn't in the picture this year, there's another Christmas album that has an outside chance at blocking Rihanna from the top: Rod Stewart's "Merry Christmas, Baby." It's unlikely that Stewart will jump to No. 1, but the busy shopping weekend could produce many surprises, so stay tuned. "Merry Christmas, Baby" is currently at No. 6 on the chart, having sold 80,000 last week.
Also a wild card in the mix is Taylor Swift's blockbuster "Red" album, which fell from the No. 1 slot this week after three straight frames atop the list. It sold 145,000 last week. Never doubt the power of Swift and her allure at big box retailers on Black Friday.



Aside from Rihanna, there are a number of other new releases headed for big debuts next week: Kid Rock's "Rebel Soul" might start with 165,000 or so and Phillip Phillips' "The World From the Side of the Moon" is heading for a 150,000-unit bow.
Led Zeppelin's 2007 live reunion concert album/video "Celebration Day" -- its first release of new recordings in decades -- may move 100,000. That number could be in flux though, since Led Zep will likely be a highly attractive holiday gift to many shoppers.

SERENA GOMEZ NEW PARTNERSHIP WITH ADIDAS NEO TOGETHER WITH JUSTINE BIEBER

Serena is the newest representative for the Adidas NEO Label, one of the company's most fashionable and fun brands. Gomez's partnership with Adidas, as the new global style icon and guest designer, lasts for three years, until the end of 2015.
Selena will take her girl-power infused style and work with NEO to design and develop ranges for each season, beginning with fall/winter 2013. She will also appear in print, digital, retail and outdoor campaigns, the first of which will launch in February 2013.

The "Love You Like a Love Song" singer joins Adidas NEO's other global style icon, ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber, whose contract with the brand was announced last month. Bieber also starred in his very own video, and has already released a pair of customized gold NEO sneakers. Although it may seem like an odd coincidence, both pop sensations have massive teen followings and seem like good fits for the Adidas brand.
Gomez has already started to make a name for herself in the fashion industry, appearing on the covers of numerous fashion magazines over the years. She also released a collection for K-Mart, Dream Out Loud, and launched a successful fragrance.

"Diamonds" darts to the penthouse courtesy of gains on all three of the Hot 100's component charts. It becomes Rihanna's record-extending 12th No. 1 on Digital Songs, where it climbs 3-1 with a 19% increase to 171,000 downloads sold, according to Nielsen SoundScan (and passes 1 million downloads sold to date). The song logs a second week atop On-Demand Songs (1.05 million on-demand streams, according to Nielsen BDS), good for top Streaming Gainer honors on the Hot 100, and pushes 4-2 on Radio Songs with 115 million all-format audience impressions (up 17%), according to BDS.

"Diamonds" (atop R&B/Hip-Hop Songs for a seventh week) wins a fairly close race to No. 1 on the Hot 100, toppling "Night" by approximately 2,000 chart points. "Diamonds" gains by a robust 17% in overall points, while "Night" deflates by less than 1%.

"TWILIGHT" AND "SKYFALL" MOVIES LEADING THE THANKS GIVING BOX OFFICE

No new movies have been able to challenge blockbusters "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2" and "Skyfall," which continue to lead the box office over the first two days of the Thanksgiving holiday weekend.


Among a trio of new pictures, "Rise of the Guardians" is shaping up to be the worst opening in six years for DreamWorks Animation, while "Life of Pi" started slow but appears to be building with good word-of-mouth, and the remake of "Red Dawn" is off to a decent start.

The newest and final "Twilight" sequel easily topped the box office Wednesday and eked out a victory Thursday with $12.8 million and $8.1 million, respectively. Total box office in the U.S. and Canada since the teen vampire romance opened last Friday is $183.8 million. That's $4.7 million ahead of "Breaking Dawn Part 1" at the same point last year, but $4.3 million behind 2009's "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse."

It appears "Breaking Dawn Part 2" will end up grossing virtually the same amount as the last few "Twilight" movies, dashing the hopes of some at studio Lionsgate that, like the final "Harry Potter" movie, it could beat its predecessors.

"Skyfall," meanwhile, has become the highest grossing James Bond movie of all time domestically and with healthy $7.3 million and $7.5 million receipts Wednesday and Thursday, should keep going for a while. Its total domestic gross as of the holiday was $185.6 million.

With only $4.9 million on its opening day Wednesday and $3.7 million Thursday, "Rise of the Guardians" is unlikely to gross more than $30 million through Sunday. That would be lower than any three-day opening weekend for a film from studio DreamWorks Animation since the 2006 flop "Flushed Away."

"Life of Pi," a pricey 3-D adaptation of the bestselling novel, got off to a less-than-impressive start Wednesday with $3.7 million. However, it enjoyed the best Wednesday-to-Thursday rise of any movie in the top 10, a sign that word-of-mouth is strong and 20th Century Fox's picture could enjoy a long life in theaters. With a 23% rise in ticket sales Thursday to $4.5 million, "Life of Pi's" total gross was $8.2 million.

"Red Dawn," a long-delayed remake of the Reagan-era movie about invading Communists, opened to $4.2 million Wednesday and dropped to $3.2 million Thursday. That's a fine start for the film that was produced by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer but inexpensively acquired by independent distributor FilmDistrict.

Audiences seemed to enjoy all three new movies. "Rise of the Guardians" earned an average grade of A from opening day attendees, according to research firm CinemaScore, "Life of Pi" got an A- and "Red Dawn" a B.

"Lincoln" also continues to do solid business, coming in No. 3 at the box office on Thanksgiving. With $4.2 million Wednesday and $4.9 million Thursday, the total gross for the historical biopic starring Daniel Day-Lewis is $37.2 million after six days in national release.

Sue Radford, 37, of Morecambe, England, who first got pregnant at the age of 14, said she and her husband, Noel, just brought newborn Casper home and may consider having even more children, The Sun reported Friday.

"I just love being a mummy. We're so lucky," Radford said. "I get very emotional when I see the children together. I know people stare. Some think they won't get the attention they need. They don't realize how dedicated we are. And maybe we'll be lucky enough to have more."

The couple said they recently became grandparents when Sophie had a baby of her own.

The family, which does not receive any government assistance, lives in a 9-bedroom house that formerly served as a nursing home and use a minibus to transport their brood. The parents said they spend about $400 on groceries each week.

DWARF PLANET ''MAKEMAKE'' SAYARI ISYOKUWA NA ATMOSPHERE

Nov 23 (TruthDive): Scientists after making a detailed study have learnt a ‘dwarf planet’ discovered seven years ago near the edge of the Solar System is a dead, frozen world with no atmosphere.

The dwarf planet, Makemake was discovered in 2005 and was named after a Polynesian god, but scientists have just now made the first detailed study of this distant planet’s shape, size and surface.

The study was made by an international team headed by Jose Luis Ortiz of the Andalucian Institute of Astrophysics in Spain, making use of seven different telescopes across Chile and Brazil.

Makemake is one of five recognized dwarf planets, along with Ceres, Eris, Haumea and Pluto. The dwarf planet orbits at a distance of about 7.8 billion km from the Sun—somewhere between Pluto and Eris, the biggest and most distant of the known dwarf planets in the solar system.

The scientists looked at Makemake as it passed in front of a distant star, Nomad 1181-0235723, only for about one minute.

Jose Luis Ortiz said when Makemake passed in front of the star and blocked it out, the star disappeared and reappeared very abruptly, rather than fading and brightening gradually. This means that the little dwarf planet has no significant atmosphere.

Makemake has no moon and it is at a great distance from the Earth, which make us difficult to study about the dwarf planet. But with the new observations, the team was able to glean new data about the planet’s size and density.

The dwarf planet’s red-tinged surface is apparently covered by a layer of frozen methane, and is bright enough to be seen by a high-end amateur telescope, despite its current distance of nearly 53 times the distance between the Earth and the sun.

The dwarf was found to be nearly two-thirds of the size of Pluto, but the team put the measurement on a firmer footing, measuring it to be not quite spherical – about 1,430km across in one direction and 1,500km across the other.

The icy mini-planet lies in the Kuiper Belt – a region littered with frozen objects, more than four billion miles from the Sun. It completes an orbit every 310 years or so. The team estimates that Makemake has a density of 1.7 grams per cubic centimetre
